The Willeymoor currently appears in a number of real ale guides most notably "The Good Beer Guide" edited by Roger Protz & the "Out in Cheshire" guide (free quarterly) produce by the CAMRA branch members from various parts of Cheshire - both interesting reads.

Over the past two decades the Willeymoor Lock Tavern has fostered a reputation for its variety of guest ales - we have a constantly changing line up of beers from around the country - below is a list of beers already in the cellar or on order for the next few weeks - please pop by or ring the pub to find out what we have on today (02/02/12)

Located in south Cheshire on the Shropshire border, close to Wales & Staffordshire we are blessed with a number of excellent 'Local' breweries within a 30mile radius. We regularly have beers from Weetwood, Stonehouse, Salopian, Spitting Feathers, Merlins, Beartown, Townhouse, Titanic, Northern, Ironbridge, Lymestone, Off Beat, Slaters & Woodlands to name a few....!!!
Beers from further a field but still 'fairly local' such as Woods, Three Tuns, Six Bells, Ludlow, Wincle, Storm, Facers, Waen, Phoenix & Black Hole are also regularly featured particularly during the summer. Then there's the 'regionals' such as Dark Star, Oakham, Millstone, Rudgate, Hop Back, Greene King (inc County, Old Speckled Hen, Abbot), FFF, Skinners, Marston Moor, Spinning Dog, St Austell, Brewdog, Wentworth, Northumberland, Wyre Piddle, Abbeydale, Ossett, Milestone, Copper Dragon, Brass Monkey, Kelham Island etc not forgetting .......Timothy Taylor !!!!
