Open throughout the year a warm welcome awaits you at the Willeymoor Lock Tavern a traditional country pub which has been family run for over 30 years. Located on the Cheshire - Shropshire border off the A49 Whitchurch to Tarporley road giving easy access to all major routes

We open every day, but not all day - our food is served daily throughout the year (12:00pm - 2:00pm and 6:00pm - 9:00pm)

Originally a Lock Keepers cottage, converted in the Mid 70's - the Willeymoor Lock Tavern is well known for its canal side location, a perfect setting to watch the passing narrowboats on the Llangollen canal. The pub is popular with boaters, holidaymakers, walkers & spectators (free moorings are available along the towpath)

Informal & unpretentious we aim to offer a down to earth atmosphere for all to enjoy - whether its a relaxed meal or pint with family & friends. We have an array of traditional pub food (yes - most meals come with chunky chips!) complemented by a varied selection of handed pulled real ales, beers, spirits, global wines & soft drinks - our competitively priced menu options, include traditional ‘Pub Grub’, light snacks, Steaks, Grills, Vegetarian dishes and Children’s meals (see menus)

There is a children’s play area, seating beside the canal & large beer garden, ideal locations for summertime dining.

Dogs are welcome at our discretion (during busy periods it maybe necessary to restrict them inside the pub), they are welcome in all our outdoor areas - sorry for any inconvience
